It was hard to be greeted with the shine of the morning sun, especially when billions of heaviness was put against your eyes. It was just as hard to place your step right on the ground when your vision refused to corporate with you. And just like any other day, I tripped over my big-long-bolster-look-alike pillow, with face almost landed first on the floor.
“Shigeeeeeeeee!!!!!! Are you alright?” my mom shouted after hearing my falling sound.
“Yeahhhhh!!! I fell down!! Just like usual,” I shouted back as I pushed myself up.
It wasn’t that hard for anyone to notice how clumsy I could be sometimes. Human has weaknesses you know. Luckily my brain could process inputs fast, one good thing about being me. It took me almost forever to walk to the bathroom. It took me even longer to grab the toothbrush. I was just plain sleepy.
Last night, my phone rang for who knew how many times, that I almost decided to just throw it away to the floor. College had been hard you see, and I needed my rest. Tons of emails were received, and I only managed to reply about the first twenty emails. My thumb hurt a little from typing “thank you so much for the wishes” over and over again.
Just as expected, Kei-chan was the first one to call and Tegoshi was the first one to send me an email. It was so delightful to be congratulated by those that care about you. Yamashita-kun sent me an email not long after Tegoshi. Massu, well, I got the email only about 5 o’clock in the morning. Well, at least he didn’t mistakenly remember the wrong date for my birthday just like on Kei-chan’s.
And Ryo. Good question. He didn’t call nor did he email me. And guess what, he showed up, knocking on my window, insisting on coming inside. Luckily I was still having my specs on, if not I might mistaken him from a burglar. It was sweet of him to come over on my birthday, but he really didn’t have to come in such a bizarre way, honestly. That’s what would happen if you had a boyfriend as insane as him.
“Seriously, Ryo. There is something called the front door,” I said, when I finally let him in.
“Yeah. And it is as if someone will actually open the door for me at 2 o’clock in the morning,” he said as he sat on my single size bed.
“Whatever, Ryo. So why are you here?”
“It’s your birthday. I want to be here for you. No, I need to be here because I’m your boyfriend. I’m not such an ass whole to let his boyfriend spends his birthday alone,”
Yeah. Sometimes Ryo could say the sweetest thing ever. It wasn’t really sweet if you compare with those awesome love phrases you heard on dramas, but it was more than sweet, considering that it came out from Ryo’s mouth. Surprisingly I must say, he often said those sweet things unintentionally.
Okay, back to me, the one in the bathroom, brushing his teeth. About a minute later, Ryo opened my bathroom’s door harshly. He looked grumpy. Well, he stayed over, forcing his way to my bed. Luckily he wasn’t that big that both of us fit there just fine. “Move a little Shige. There is not enough space in front of the sink, in case u didn’t notice,” complained Ryo.
“No one said that you have to use this bathroom. We have another bathroom outside of my room, Ryo. And you know that,” I replied.
“Yeah, and your mom will get a heart attack to suddenly find me in her house early in the morning,”
It annoyed me really each time Ryo kept complaining and making things more complicated, really. What annoyed me even more was that most of his complains were indeed making sense.
“And I don’t want her to see me walking funny,” he added.
I snorted. I looked at him who was currently splashing the water to his face. See? I just told you that no matter how much I didn’t like it when he complained, what ever he said was actually right. I wouldn’t want my mom to see my boyfriend to walk around the house, limping.
“I only let you be on top on your birthday, which means; I don’t really take it as relax as you up there. So next year, please don’t do it as if you want to eat me alive. If not, there won’t be any birthday present for you that involving my poor sexy body anymore,”
Well, at least I always had the best birthday present from him anyway. I was more than happy for myself. The rest of the day wouldn’t even really matter. I wouldn’t really care if I had less birthday cards. Maa~, it wasn’t so bad being so selfish about your boyfriend right?
"And use lube next time, please," he added.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHIGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! huaaa.. first time seeing shige will be on yayayah show.. i never noticed him when he was with news before.. but when i started to like yayayah, well, just right before they got disband, i decided to watch the yayayah show.. honestly when i see him i was like.. "THAT's MY PERFECT UKE RIGHT THERE ON TV!!" hahaha.. and that;s how i started to search any fanfiction on him.. and about early this year, i totally flailed over nishikato (up until now, and u should be noticing it too).. anyway.. happy bday, shige! sorry for the short fiction.. i have tons of homework to do..
