sigh.. that was one hell of work..
i couldn't find any idea on how to build up the dynamic..
hope u like it..

Chapter 1: The Nightmare
“This is crap, Kato. No one will really care if the stupid little kitten died in the freaking box,” said his new section editor.
“But Nishikido-san, you didn’t even read half of it,” Shige complained.
Nishikido Ryo. Some people call him Nishikido-san, the other editors called him Ryo to differentiate him from his dad, but Shige called him nightmare. That was of course if Shige actually did manage to sleep. “I don’t have to read the whole thing to know how crappy it is, Kato. I can tell from the first paragraph.”
Since Ryo became Shige’s new editor, life didn’t get any better. Shige hardly got any sleep and most of his article’s proposals were usually being rejected right away. The nightmare, Ryo, usually would only approve his work on its tenth or eleventh draft. This time, Shige was already on his thirteenth draft, and Ryo still refused to approve it.
“The kitten is not the main topic there, Nishikido-san. It was just something I used as for the starting. It was just an analogy,”
Ryo crossed his hands as he leaned his back to his chair. His eyes were set intensely to Shige, who was standing just right after his desk. “This is not a school magazine short story section, Kato. This is Columnist View. Please don’t write something as childish as this. I told you so many times, never ever start an article with once upon a time in land far far away.”
“I didn’t start the article with that phrase. I’m not that stupid to think that this is a small children bed time story book,” defended Shige.
“It didn’t, but it is close enough to that. Before you managed to throw away you naïve way of viewing the topic I gave you, please don’t even think of showing me the draft you made. And don’t forget that your date line is today,” said Ryo as he handed back Shige’s draft.
The rest of the day didn’t get any better for Shige. He tended to get all clumsy when he pissed off or nervous. At the moment, he could say that he felt both pissed and nervous. Pissed, because that he would have another overtime work to do and nervous because he didn’t want to lose his job.
“Honestly Koyama, I don’t understand what’s wrong with me using an analogy. I used it so many times before, and he never complained before. He’s been here for what, three months? And I feel as if he’s been my boss my entire life!” complained Shige as he lightened up his cigarette.
“What can I say, Shige? I’m not even working in your section; I don’t really have the right to say anything about Nishikido-san. He looks like a nice guy to me,” said Koyama.
“Oh please, what you know about him anyway. You don’t see him every single day,”
“Well, it seemed that my boss and your boss are pals. So I do see him every single day, talking to Yamashita-san. Although maybe not as much as you do,” Koyama just laughed lightly. He grabbed a bunch of edamen from Shige’s untouched bowl.
Before Shige managed to ask anything about this relationship that their bosses had, Masuda suddenly rushed into the café in such a mess. He pressed his back hard to the door. He was panting, with one hand holding his bag; and his face looked as if he was frightened like hell.
“Massu-chan!!!” someone shouted from outside the café.
Masuda’s face turned purple the moment he heard his name being called. He ran as fast as he could to where Koyama and Shige were sitting. “I need to hide!” cried Masuda. Koyama and Shige just looked at each other, trying to digest what actually happened. Masuda quickly crawled under their table and hided at its corner.
The café’s door then was being opened with such a rush. A girl with a short hair cut showed up right on the door’s frame. Shige and Koyama observed the girl as they tried their best to make sure that Masuda was kept unseen. Her dyed blond hair was covered with a few flakes of the snow and the winter coat she was wearing was just as white as the snow.
“God, she’s hot,” whispered Koyama. Shige just nodded in agreement.
She looked around the café and sighed as she couldn’t find whoever she was looking for. With a disappointed look, she walked to the bar and smiled at the café’s manager. “Hi, Sho-chan,” she greeted him. On the other hand, Koyama and Shige still set their eyes on this girl.
“Looking for Masuda-kun, just like usual?” asked Sakurai Sho, the manager.
“Yeah. I’m pretty sure that I saw him entered the café, but I couldn’t find anywhere inside here. Does he have any work to do today?” said the girl.
“Unfortunately, he doesn’t. I’ll tell him that you came by when I see him, Tegoshi-kun. Here, free hot chocolate for you,” said Sakurai as he handed a cup of hot chocolate. Koyama and Shige stared at the girl for a while. “Shige, did you hear that?? Sakurai-san just used ‘-kun’ on her name,” whispered Koyama. Again, Shige just nodded.
Once the girl left, Masuda moved at a snail's pace from under the table and sat beside Shige. He put his head on the table as he sighed. “I hate it when he suddenly screams out my name and chases me around,” complained Masuda, with a really tired face.
“He??”
“Yeah. Tegoshi Yuya. He’s my neighbor, and he’s working as my lecturer’s assistant at my college. Somehow, for this unknown reason, it seems as if he’s obsessed with me,” sighed Masuda.
“He? Ehhh? That hot girl just now is a…. h-he???? Oh my goodness gracious! Lord, safe me!” Koyama freaked out.
“I’m not even that appealing!” Masuda added.
Shige’s cigarette once again was being neglected, he quickly turned it off as he bended it on the ashtray. “Masuda-san, the girl just now is a guy? Are you serious? You are joking, ain’t you?” asked Shige.
“Do I look like I’m joking? Didn’t you notice that he was wearing guy’s clothes? You can ask Sho-chan if you don’t believe me. And Shige, how many times should I tell to call me Massu,” said Masuda.
“Oh sorry, Massu,” Shige smiled awkwardly.
Once their lunch break ended, Shige and Koyama quickly went back to their office. Just like usual, Shige ended up leaving his edamen’s bowl untouched, wasting another cigarette, and drinking not even half of his coffee. He sat on his desk lazily and stared at the draft that Ryo’s just rejected.
“I hate my life,” he murmured as he turned on his computer.
While waiting for his computer to finish loading, Shige’s eyes caught a presence of a document on the corner of his desk. It wasn’t his, thought Shige. He grabbed the document and started to flip through it. Eh? Shige kept flipping through the document, trying to make sure that he wasn’t dreaming.
“That was my article for this topic when I was still working in the main branch. I attached some useful journals and other sources. You can use them as references. I’m not being nice to you; I just need to make sure that everyone meets their dateline. Yamapi will make fun of me if I can’t hand in the final copy of our section on time. I never lose to him before, you see.”
Shige turned his head, finding Ryo rested his butt against the edge Shige’s desk. The shorter guy didn’t even look at him. He was just there, taking a sip from his cup of coffee. Shige wasn’t really sure whether he should feel happy or feel humiliated, but he was sure that he felt relieved. “Thank you,” he said at the end.
Things got better after he got his new references. Shige had to admit that the article that Ryo wrote was marvelous. His choices of words and the phrases he used were unexpectedly exceptional. Even more to his shock, Ryo actually used loads of analogy on his article.
“Ryo-chan!!! Ne, let’s go out for a drink??” suddenly Yamashita Tomohisa, Sports Section editor, opened their office’s door right when their working our finished.
Shige could only stare at the young and handsome editor. Koyama was so lucky, he thought. If only he, this very unlucky Kato Shigeaki, could work under such a nice and awesome editor, he was pretty sure that he wouldn’t regret himself for not being a real novelist.
“I can’t, Yamapi. Not tonight, maybe next time,” said Ryo, without even bother to look up from one of his subordinates’ final draft.
“Eh?? Why? You are my bestfriend! It has been three months since you moved, and we didn’t even once hang out. We need to catch up with the time we lost, Ryo-chan,” whined Yamashita.
“Sorry, Pi. I really wish that I can go, but I can’t. I still have one more unfinished draft to check, since I have to make sure that this really pathetic columnist of mine can finish his article by today,” said Ryo, as he glanced at Shige. Shige’s lip just twitched, cursing his editor.
“But, Ryo-chan. We haven’t hanged out since our college time!”
“I didn’t go to college in case you don’t remember,” said Ryo. He handed back the draft to his subordinate and nodded, telling him that he approved it.
“Well, okay. We haven’t hanged out since I went to college and since you straight away started to work with your dad after highschool,” he corrected himself. He walked towards Ryo’s desk and put his hand around Ryo’s shoulder.
“Stop being such a pain in the ass, Pi. I’ll make it up to you,” Ryo finally looked up.
Yamashita pouted, “Fine.” He moved closer to the shorter man and placed his lips just a few centimeters away from Ryo’s ear. “You better will, or else I’ll make sure that everyone knows your dirty little secret,” he whispered.
“I don’t have any secret,” said Ryo calmly.
“Oh yes you do, baby!” Yamashita gave Ryo a really quick peck on his cheek. He grinned and made his way to the door.
“I don’t. And please stop acting all gay,” Ryo complained.
“Oh come on! Look who’s talking! And for your information, real man is never afraid to look gay although he’s not one, Ryo-chan!” the Sports Editor just laughed as he closed the door.
Shige looked at Ryo intensely, didn’t believe what he just saw. It made him shivered just to remember that Yamashita kissed Ryo’s cheek. Even so, it was amusing to see his boss looked all annoyed being bullied by the other editor. Ryo pierced his eyes at Shige when he realized that Shige was looking at him. The gloomy face young man quickly turned his head away, and tried to concentrate on his unfinished article.
“Stop staring at me like that! Never see someone being bullied by his bestfriend?!?! Quickly finish your god damn article! I want to go back as soon as I can, but I can’t before you finish the article!” shouted Ryo at Shige.

i didn't know how to build up the dynamic, and i stopped at when Koyama and Shige was in the cafe.. it took a couple of days before i knew what i should write.. hope u like this chapter!!! and comments are so much loved!! ^__^..
now i need to get my tadaiki's fic done..
